• Question: Do you feel like you're paid well enough?

      I think everyone has a different feel about whether they are paid enough. Engineers especially in the aerospace industry are considered to have a higher salary. I am quite pleased with my pay although there’s always room for better :).

    I think a lot of engineers and scientists are paid quite well compared to most other jobs… but it’s not as simple as how much you get paid.

    What I think is important how much do you get paid compared to how hard you have to work. Most jobs that pay better than science and engineering are only better because you have to work harder, longer hours or doing something quite boring!

    Also, for many engineers and scientists, the transferable skills often allow you to move jobs quite easily – it’s not about how much you get paid, it’s also about how reliably you will get paid for your skills.
