    • About Me:

      I am scientist living in Cambridge doing research and development into designing catalysts for petrol cars. I’m an active person who loves to be busy doing something.

      My main passion I like ouside of work is playing cricket, which I play in at the weekends in the summer. Other things I like to do in my spare time are playing video games, creating terrariums and photography.

    • My Work:

      I am a product development chemist doing research and development into designing new catalysts for petrol cars. I make catalytic filters, which convert harmful gases created by the engine and also capture soot.

    • My Typical Day:

      My job means I have to be creative thinking of new ideas that could give a benefit.

      I spend a lot of my time in the lab, where I make new catalysts that I have designed. When I’m not in the lab, I am submitting parts for testing, processing data and writing up my work.

    • Work History:

      At school I worked as a football referee, which was quite a challenge as parents on the sidelines can be quite abusive! I have also worked at AQA processing exam results as a summer job at university. During university I worked as a cricket coach for Cardiff and the vale county which I really enjoyed. I spent a summer working for a small company as an material scientist intern looking at creating flexible electronic devices.

    • Current Job:

      I work as a product development chemist at Johnson Matthey where I do research and development designing new catalysts for petrol cars. These catalysts turn the bad gases that come out of the car and turn them into clean ones that won’t cause us harm.

        I had no idea!

        Not too often, I was pretty well behaved!

        I'd like to do something with nature/animals

        My favourite band currently is the Mary Wallopers

        I really like korean food like tteokbokki
