I did a PhD in bacterial cell biology, hoping to find a new antibiotic. After my PhD, I decided research wasn’t for me and started my work at RSB.

My Work:
I help run the Royal Society of Biology’s programme of training for biologists at all levels. This includes organising biology lab practicals and handling applications for our professional registers.

My Typical Day:
I wake up, make myself a strong coffee and shuffle over to my desk to work from home. I write reports, track budgets and reply to emails from people looking for career support.
