I’m originally from Hungary but now I live in the UK. I speak Hungarian and English—and I’m trying to learn Greek too! I love exploring new places, trying different foods (especially anything cheesy or chocolatey), and spending evenings playing video games with my boyfriend.
In my free time, I enjoy helping young people get into STEM and showing that engineers can be creative, curious, and come from all sorts of backgrounds. I didn’t always know what I wanted to do—but I gave engineering a try, and now I want to help others believe in themselves too.

I work for a company called Leonardo, where I help make helicopter blades. These blades are very important because they spin fast and lift the helicopter into the air. My job is to make sure the blades are strong and safe so the helicopter can fly well.
I like my work because it lets me solve problems and work with a team to create things that really matter. It’s exciting to see how something I help make can fly and keep people safe. Even though the job can be tricky, I enjoy learning new skills and finding better ways to do things every day.

My Typical Day:
At work, I problem solve, talk with my team, and make presentations. I check the helicopter blades to make sure they are strong and safe. I also support the factory by helping with any issues and planning the next steps.

At work, I spend a lot of time solving problems to make sure everything runs smoothly. I talk and share ideas with my team because working together helps us find the best solutions. I make presentations to explain my work clearly to others.
I check helicopter blades to make sure they are strong and safe to use. This means looking closely for any damage or mistakes. Supporting the factory means helping the people who build the blades when they have questions or problems. I also help plan what to do next to keep improving how we work.

What I'd do with the prize money:
If I win the £500 prize, I would use it to create easy STEM kits and online videos that kids can use at home. I’d also organize small local events or school visits nearby to help children explore science and engineering in a fun way, especially for those who don’t usually get the chance to try it.
