My Typical Day:
Every day is different. During term, I lecture, so I spend time preparing and then time presenting. Outside of term time, I work on robots.

What I'd do with the prize money:
I’d build an robot companion to help me talk about engineering

I went to school at CBC Boksburg, and to the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa

Matric (South African school leaving certificate), BSc Eng, MSc Eng, PhD in Electronics

Work History:
24 years with a research company, then 3 years with a university in South Africa, and I’ve been at a university in Cornwall since 2017
