      My research is based around the development of membranes in hydrogen fuel cells. As a Chemical Engineer, I analyse the long term mechanical durability of these in order to help make advancements in fuel technology research.

      These membranes are thick as a human hair and so are quite fiddly to work with! These membranes should last for 80,000 hours… the same time you’d spend if you worked for 40 years 

       

       

    • My Typical Day:

      My work is split between lab and office so it’s nice to have different working environments and vary my day!
