I am retired but started life as a Rocket Scientist with the Ministry of Defence.
After that I became a lecturer in Mathematics and Computer Science.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and show people around the Open University’s observatory.
I lead a tour company taking people all over the world to see astronomical events such as eclipses, aurorae, meteor showers.I now take education groups on visits to the National Museum of Computing located at Bletchley Park. I have my own Enigma machine

I am from Turkey and have lived and worked in three countries (Turkey, the USA, and the UK) before moving to the UK (the second time) to relocate to Lancaster in 2023. I am a chemical engineer and work as a Lecturer at Lancaster University. This means that I do lots of scientific research and higher education teaching. My past academic positions are teaching assistance and two post-doctorate contracts at the University of Pittsburgh, assistant professor at Vespreme University (Panonia), research fellow at Hungarian academy of sciences, and associate professor at Obudai University, successively.
