I am from Turkey and have lived and worked in three countries (Turkey, the USA, and the UK) before moving to the UK (the second time) to relocate to Lancaster in 2023. I am a chemical engineer and work as a Lecturer at Lancaster University. This means that I do lots of scientific research and higher education teaching. I love being active and try to travel as much as possible. My wife and I love road trips. I love sports activities, especially snowboarding, football, and working out!

I am from Manchester 🐝 and live there with my partner and two cats 🐈⬛. Actually, my current job is in Cumbria at the Dalton Cumbrian Facility, so I live there during the week and travel home at weekends. I’ve previously worked at Lancaster University, Manchester University, Daresbury Laboratory and CERN (the home of the Large Hadron Collider). I like yoga, wildlife and sci-fi/action films. I am also a scuba diving instructor.
