I am retired but started life as a Rocket Scientist with the Ministry of Defence.
After that I became a lecturer in Mathematics and Computer Science.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and show people around the Open University’s observatory.
I lead a tour company taking people all over the world to see astronomical events such as eclipses, aurorae, meteor showers.I now take education groups on visits to the National Museum of Computing located at Bletchley Park. I have my own Enigma machine

I am a project manager working to deliver high-tech products. in the past I have worked designing silicon chips, set-top-boxes, digital cameras and phones. Right now I’m working on products which will bring great internet experience to train passengers in the UK and across the world –imagine everyone in your carriage all watching high-def Netflix, Youtube or iPayer at the same time.

About Me:
I am a scientist working in Johnson Matthey, Reading. I work Monday to Friday from around 9 to 4.30 in the office and the rest of the time I spend with my family. I love Chemistry and teaching or tutoring, more than that I love inspiring or motivating others. I live with my husband and my two beautiful kids in Reading. I don’t have any other close relatives in the UK. Luckily I have many good friends around me.
Until my masters, I studied in India and then moved out of the country with my husband. I am Muslim, as you can see from (I belive you can guess) the profile picture with me wearing hijab. One year in Norway, 6-7 years in Denmark and finally settled in the UK. I did my PhD from Denmark.

I am a Portuguese PhD student living, studying and researching in Plymouth. I specialize in a branch of Theoretical Physics called Quantum Field Theory, which tries to describe how particles behave and interact with each other. Whenever I am not pushing the boundaries of our physics knowledge, I am either working out or playing (maybe too much) computer games!

Hey everyone! I recently moved 300 miles away from my family (and my dog) in the South West to the North East to begin my Apprenticeship journey and the start of my career.
This was a big move for me at 18. Everyday, I face new and sometimes challenging situations both in work and in my personal life but I am having so much fun!
I love going to work everyday where I deal with data, do some programming and help improve the quality of our medicines and make sure they reach our patients faster.

Hi there! I’m a second-year PhD student at the University of Bath. Being a PhD student is a little different from regular school because I don’t attend lectures or take exams. Instead, I spend my time researching exciting topics as part of my PhD project! My research is about supply chain challenges in cutting-edge industries, like cultivated meat (you might have heard it called lab-grown meat). I’m also part of a big project called cellular agriculture , where I work alongside brilliant scientists and researchers from different fields.
I live in Bath with my family, including my 9-year-old daughter. When I’m not working, I love traveling and drinking black coffee. I’m a SCA certified home brewer and barista, so I always start my day with a great cup of black coffee !
