      Hello! I love the variety. I get to do lots of different things each week – playing in the lab doing experiments, talking to industry about what we’re building and any problems we might be able to help with, teaching our students about physics… It’s almost all fun and interesting.

      I love seeing the things that I’ve designed become reality. It’s very satisfying seeing something that you’ve designed work and other people using it!

      I love that fact that I get to drive some of the military vehicles and to also work with prototype engines. A prototype is an early model which we change loads of times before the engine is made to sell. I also really like the people I work with. We are always laughing and having a good time.
